Refreshes the knowledge/skills required for Advanced EMT (Intermediate Technician) re-licensure. A certificate of completion will be issued and verification of completion will be entered into the WI EMS e-licensing system. Students will receive an FVTC AEMT Refresher certificate. Current AHA BLS Provider CPR or equivalent and current Wisconsin/National Registry AEMT licensure required.

Teaches and evaluates two-rescuer CPR, one-rescuer CPR, obstructed airway technique for the adult/child/infant, adult/child Automated External Defibrillator (AED), pocket mask and Bag Valve mask. Students receive an American Heart Association Healthcare CPR card with two-year certification.

Teaches and evaluates CPR/AED for adult, rescue breathing for adult, and relief of choking for adult and basic first aid until an ambulance arrives. Students are emailed an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/First Aid e-Card with two-year certification.

Prepares instructor candidates for certification as a Defensive Tactics Instructor (DT Instructor). This course replaces DAAT and POSC Instructor courses as of January, 2022.

Refreshes the knowledge of the Emergency Medical Responder. Fulfills the Emergency Medical Responder refresher requirements for the State of Wisconsin and the National Registry of EMTs. This course refreshes knowledge of the EMT. It fulfills the EMT refresher requirements for the State of Wisconsin and the National Registry of EMT's. It is recommended that students have the following qualifications: Current AHA CPR Healthcare BLS or American Red Cross Professional CPR recognition and current Wisconsin/National Registry EMT-B licensure.

Performs all duties of a firefighter as they pertain to: building construction, rescue, fire cause determination, public education, salvage and overhaul, supporting sprinkler systems, vehicle extrication, and live fire evolutions. Completion of Certified Firefighter I is recommended.

Presents and evaluates basic first aid skills necessary to care for the ill and injured until medical help arrives. The course is designed for the layperson. Students receive an American Heart Association First Aid card with two-year certification.

This training is specifically designed for those who need to train employees on how to safely and properly operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts). Participants also learn how to implement an effective testing program to determine your operator’s knowledge, skill, and understanding.
