Fire Watch & Fire Watch Refresher

The FVTC Public Safety Training Center is able to provide hands-on training for both incipient teams and structural brigades. Our facility includes 5-story Class A burn building, a ladder training tower, a confined space simulator, a gas meter prop and all the latest resources for your industrial fire watch training. Fork truck, hose line and extinguisher training is also available. Hot work activities, hot work permits and fire watch are controlled by OSHA regulations, NFPA standards, ANSI standards, insurance company requirements and facility specific policies. Fire watch is an activity required for most hot work which is not performed in a pre-identified area, such as a weld shop. This includes hands-on training with fire and extinguishers and hand lines.
