This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the components that make up ADAS, how they function individually and together, and why proper calibration is critical to vehicle safety and performance.

Focuses on air brake systems used on fire apparatus and other heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Air brake system operation and diagnostics will be covered. Participants will learn about air system assembly techniques, antilock braking system operation, and electronic stability control operation.

Covers rules and regulations, airport certification, aircraft and airport familiarization, ARFF safety, ARFF apparatus, PPE, rescue and firefighting procedures, tactical operations, hazardous materials, incident command, airfield communications, extinguishing agents, ARFF tools and equipment, and airport emergency plans to meet NFPA 1010 standards for a Professional Airport Firefighter and FAR 139 requirements. This course was designed to educate Law Enforcement Offices on alcohol and tobacco laws, the proper licenses required by WI State Law, and how to perform compliance checks at Class A and Class B licensed businesses. Attendees will receive hands-on training with different type of ID’s required by State law, and how to detect fake ID’s. Attendees will learn methods to enforce laws inside and areas surrounding these establishments. Attendees will also learn the importance of underage alcohol enforcement, and enforcement techniques to tackle this issue. The new ACT 73 information will also be covered. Attendees will be given directions as to how to perform inspections at licensed businesses.
